INTRODUCTION
   For the bonding of metal, ceramics, vulcanized rubber and cured synthetic resins.
Gives medium hard bonds with exceptionally high resistance to impact stress and
vibration.
   The adhesive cures on the admixture of hardener at room temperature without the
application of heat or pressure. The application of heat will, however, accelerate
curing. No volatile are split off during curing. The cured resin is odorless, tasteless
and nontoxic.
PROCESSING

1. Mixing of resin and hardener
Mixing ratio
Adhesive 100 parts by vol. or 100 parts by weight.
Hardener 100 parts by vol. or 100 parts by weight.
The pot life of the formulation is about 1.5 hr at 15-25, and about 1 hr at 30.

2. Pretreatment of the surfaces to be bonded
The surface to be bonded should be cleaned with trichlorethylene, or any other
good grease solvent, to remove all dirt oil and grease. Aluminum and aluminum
alloys are sanded to produce strengths sufficient roughened with sand paper.
The surface of natural rubber should be treated for 5-10 min. with conc. Sulfuric
acid and then rinsed with water and dried them. Synthetic rubber is treated in the
same way natural rubber. Silicone rubber and thermoplastic such as PVC,
polyethylene, polystyrene, etc. cannot be bonded with this adhesive.

3. Application of the adhesive
Adhesive is first mixed very thoroughly with hardener and then applied to the
surface to be bonded with a spatter or brush. Thicker layers may also be applied
with a spatter, or else with a grease gun or similar apparatus, under pressure.
The components are assembled immediately after application of the resin
hardener formulation.
